Secret to Release Mini-Deodorants Called Freshies
You may know the feeling — you’ve just arrived at work or class, and you realize that you forgot to put on deodorant before you left the house. Whoops.
Deodorant, in its classic stick form, isn’t the most portable product ever created, but Secret is about to change all that with its new Freshies line of on-the-go deodorants in the cutest little pod shapes.
Freshies, which resemble bath bombs and Eos lip balms, were designed to fit easily in your desk drawer, gym bag, or purse. Janine Miletic, marketing director at P&G, told Refinery29 that the (admittedly genius) idea for Freshies came from customer feedback; women told them that they “wanted a more transportable stick” and that traditional deodorant sticks were too bulky to apply discreetly. Thus, the Freshie was born — although we’d advise against storing it with your lip balms of a similar shape, just in case you mix them up.
If Secret is your go-to brand for deodorant, you’ll be happy to know that you can pick up a Freshie or two during your next Target run starting in March. They’ve got the same ingredients and formula as the original sticks, too, and come in refreshing scents like “Luxe Lavender” and “Paris Rose.” Honestly, the little spheres are so cute — and convenient! — we kind of want to collect them all.
