From Town & Country

The cruel irony of enjoying Emily in Paris in the middle of a global pandemic is that the charming romantic comedy from Sex and City creator Darren Star, which stars Lily Collins as the titular Emily, will instantly make you want to book a one-way ticket to France.

But so long as transatlantic flights are out of the question for most, the Netflix series—with its gorgeous shots inside of the Palais Garnier, on the banks of the Seine, and of course, in front of the sparkling Eiffel Tower—is more than enough to satisfy a little wanderlust from the comfort of your own living room.

It's an extremely bingeable series, so if you've blown through the first season, and are wondering if Emily's Parisian adventures will get a second chapter, here's what we know so far.

At this point, nothing is confirmed.

Netflix has yet to make an announcement regarding the fate of Emily in Paris, but we'll be sure to update as soon as the streaming giant comments on a potential season two.

But season one does end of a cliffhanger.

No spoilers here, but should Emily and co. return to the small screen, there would be plenty of story left to tell.

It's unclear how the pandemic would impact production on a future season.

Season one of Emily in Paris was shot entirely on location in Paris, and new episodes of the series would depend on the cast's ability to travel and work in Europe.

But if it gets picked up, at least one cast member is on board. When asked about the potential for a season two, Ashley Park, who plays Mindy in the series, told T&C that she "would love for there to be another season."

She added, "The way that season one ends, after you watch the 10 episodes, you're like, 'How are there not already 10 more episodes?!'"
