The Old Town studio's brunch series launched last month, with weekend classes currently planned through July. The classes range in cuisine, from French croque-monsieur crepes and perfectly poached eggs to seared steak with garden chimichurri and Spanish-inspired huevos rotos. Take a baby step toward a new hobby with Northern Colorado Stained Glass Supply's beginner-friendly copper foil class. This one-time, two-hour class introduces you to the art of stained glass while you make a small suncatcher. The introductory class is built for one or two people, with the one-on-one class costing $45 and the two-person class costing $40 per participant. Any crafters looking for the final frontier? That's what Bellvue cobblers Annabel Reader and Dan Huling call shoemaking, which they teach at Colorado Shoe School. The Bellvue school offers a range of classes — from two-hour leather sewing classes to five-day workshops where you can make your own high-top sneakers and boots, according to previous Coloradoan reporting. If you're an aspiring cobbler looking for your start, try the school's beginner-friendly one-day sneaker and sandals classes, which are scheduled into July and cost $250. An introduction to floral arrangement

Whether you want to learn more about the ancient art of Japanese floral design or build a bouquet with a wine glass in hand, CC's Flowers has a pair of summer classes for you. The Jessup Farm florist is putting on two summer classes, starting June 22 with an introduction to Ikebana floral design. The Japanese floral design class starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $85. CC's Flowers is also putting on a summer wine tasting and flower arranging class at 6 p.m. July 13. That class costs $75 per person. Line and swing dancing series

Where: Fort Collins Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Drive, Fort Collins

Learn the basics of swing and line dancing this summer with a series of city-run classes. The introduction to line dance is a $19, three-week class, with Monday night lessons scheduled through August. The senior center will also play host to West Coast swing Wednesdays with four-week swing dancing classes also planned through August. Singles and couples are welcome to sign up for the $47 class. As part of the city's adult dance program, these classes are designed for those 18 years and older, but people aged 13-17 can join with instructor approval.
