I have to say I agree with Taylor Swift when she says it's impossible to resist a London Boy. However, if that British beau happens to be a creepy stalker/serial killer, I'm definitely opting out. ICYMI, the first of two installments of You season 4 just hit Netflix–and Joe Goldberg is officially trading in California sunshine for a quaint residence in The Big Smoke. Yup, he’s taking his obsessive love affairs international.

In case you need to get caught up on season 3, Joe killed his wife, Love, and escaped to Paris to chase after another woman named Marienne in the finale. It turns out the couple's suburban dream in Madre Linda wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. But, in the trailer for Season 4, Joe is abandoning his dreams of Marienne and instead becomes a professor in London. “All he wants is to prove he’s not a terrible man, by living quietly as Professor Jonathan Moore, nursing his broken heart and thoroughly minding his own business,” said You co-creator Sera Gamble to Tudum.

Obviously, that doesn’t happen. Season 4 provides another twist: This time around, Joe is being stalked by an “eat-the-rich” murderer who is targeting his new group of friends–and somehow knows all about Joe's past. Yikes.

You’ll have to watch the series to crack that case, but in the meantime, here are all the gorgeous, picturesque, and infamous London spots Joe finds himself during season 4.

"Darcy College" was shot at Royal Holloway University.

Much of the plot revolves around Joe's new job at "Darcy College," a fictional university where he works as an English professor.

You reportedly filmed between March and August 2022, according to Netflix. TikTok actually revealed one of the first locations, Royal Holloway, back when crews were filming there in April 2022. Royal Holloway is actually located in a place called Egham, and is on the outskirts of the city limits.

At the time, several students posted videos of Penn Badgley walking around the Royal Holloway campus. The actor looked very prestigious in a tweed jacket, but a lot less menacing than his You character, Joe (a.k.a. John).

Another location used for "Darcy College" on the show was Lincoln’s Inn, one of the four Inns of Court in London. This location, in London's Holborn neighborhood, was used for all of the library shots in the series, per Glamour UK. And let me tell you, there are a lot of library shots!

Joe’s apartment is in South Kensington.

A lot of You season 4 is based in West London. Joe’s flat is reportedly located on Kynance Mews in South Kensington, according to Time Out London. "I'm in a Hugh Grant movie," the character says of his new pad in the first episode.

Kynance Mews is a very real spot, and it's considered to be one of London’s “most beautiful streets” according to travel bloggers. It is also very popular with photographers because of its greenery, according to PopSugar.

‘Sundry House’ is not a real club.

Joe and his friends spend quite a bit of time at a place called the Sundry House during the first episode this season. Although it seems like a pretty cool place, Sundry House is, sadly, not a real place.

An exclusive club similar to Sundry House does actually exist, though. It seems to be loosely based on Soho House, a members-only social club with locations across the world including London, New York and Chicago. An annual membership for Soho House in London is around $3,000, according to the Soho House website. Meanwhile, Joe suggests the membership at Sundry House is around $25,000. Phew!

The actual filming locations aren't super clear, but the "club" could have been shot at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, the church St. Bartholomew the Great, or a club called Fabric, according to Glamour UK. All of these locations are reportedly where You filming took place, and IMO, they all give off exclusive club vibes.

Filming also took place in other famous London spots.

It’s clear the show made a serious point to establish the setting's rich history–shots for this season took place all over London.

Joe visits St. Pancras International station, a popular train station and shopping center, per Cosmopolitan. The Four Seasons hotel in London is also used as the setting of Lady Phoebe Borehall-Blaxworth’s (yes, that is her character’s full name) posh apartment. Another big location will be The Bargehouse, which will become Joe's neighbor's art gallery, per Glamour U.K.

Other external location shots will take place at Gaddesden Estate (where a lumber yard is located in season 4), Gloucester Road, and Seething Lane Garden.

Now that you’re totally clued in, you can see all these sweet places IRL (well, on screen) when you stream You season 4 on Netflix.
