If you're still recovering from Too Hot to Handle's Season 2, you're not alone. But just when we all thought things couldn't get more chaotic, it turns out that Season 3 of Too Hot to Handle has also already been filmed and is soon on its way to Netflix.

"Netflix members around the world fell in love with the hilarious antics of season one, and now fans won’t have to wait long to see our new contestants try (and fail) to follow Lana’s strict rules with plenty of twists and surprises along the way,” Netflix VP Brandon Riegg revealed to Variety back in January.

Each season, an entirely new group of hot contestants are brought to a villa in a tropical estate under the assumption that they are about to have the best vacation of their lives. They are instead subject to the show's rules banning sexual contact (including self-gratification) for an entire month. They are under constant surveillance by a bot named Lana, and each time one is caught breaking the rules, money is deducted from the collective $100,000 prize. Winners of the show are deemed by Lana to have best demonstrated both restraint and personal growth throughout the four weeks, and win the remaining share of the prize.

When did filming take place?

As it turns out, Season 3 was filmed back-to-back with Season 2 at the height of the pandemic lockdown, in the winter of 2020. This makes sense, given that each season's cast members are supposed to be just as blindsided by the rules as the last—and you can only trick so many more fresh groups of contestants, especially after the show's particularly buzzy Season 2, involving ample flings and rule-breaking, and even a little bit of love. (Honorable mention also goes to Chase's cockroach.)

Who is in the Season 3 cast?

Netflix has yet to reveal Season 3's batch of contestants, but rest assured they will be caught just as off-guard from the rules as you'd imagine. Despite the show's increasing profile, previous cast members have opened up about the producers' due diligence in maintaining the secrecy of the show. Season 1 member Francesca Farago previously shared with Variety, "Before I even flew there, I really didn’t know. I just thought it was going to be a new concept," she said.

Cam Holmes from Season 2 also reportedly told Expres,: "When I was picked up to go to the villa, the driver’s wearing a hat that said Parties in Paradise backwards. I was looking at it the whole time thinking, ‘Okay, that must be Parties in Paradise.’ Like why would they buy fake hats? Like who goes to that length? But they did. They bought fake hats."

When is the release date?

Netflix has yet to reveal the release date. Season 1 was filmed separately in Mexico and debuted in April of 2020, about a year before season 2. Though, given the back-to-back filming between Seasons 2 and 3, along with the increasing swarm of newly devoted viewers now aware of the third season's existence, Netflix may just speed up the turnaround time of release to appease anticipating fans. Ideally, this could mean later this year or early next year, but time will tell.

Where is the new villa located?

Like last season, the new villa of Season 3 is additionally located in Turks & Caicos in the Turtle Tail estate. Netflix revealed sneak peek photos of the villa, which appears the perfect breeding ground for spiritual bonding, personal growth, and, of course, rule-breaking.
