If you're anything like us, there's a good chance you've probably binged every single episode of Love It or List It. Ever since the first episode aired in 2008, we're still trying to manifest interior designer Hilary Farr taking a stab at our own homes. Luckily, HGTV fans got a double dose of the designer when she took her first solo venture called Tough Love with Hilary Farr that premiered in 2021. By combining her expertise, experience, and some brutal honesty, Hilary helped families turn their dysfunctional homes into their dream pad that they can proudly call their own.

After a successful first season of Tough Love, fans are left wondering if they'll get new episodes filled with Hilary's dry humor and no-nonsense attitude that made fans immediately fall head over heels. Luckily, it looks like she's not going anywhere soon. Here's everything we know about the future of Tough Love with Hilary Farr.

Okay but really! Is there a second season on the way?

Considering the fact that Hilary shared this Instagram post in the Fall of 2022...

...the answer is a resounding YES!

The HGTV show began filming for the new season in November. Ever since her exciting announcement, she's been playing double duty as new episodes of Love It or List It aired on HGTV and discovery+.

Fans can look forward to a 10-episode packed new season of the hit series. "Hilary draws people in with her charismatic personality and tell it like it is attitude," said HGTV's group senior vice president, Loren Ruch. "Her clients, as well as millions of her television fans, look to her straightforward and unfiltered guidance and sophisticated design sense for inspiration and results. This 10-episode order for Tough Love with Hilary Farr will spotlight more of her beautiful, life-changing work," she continued.

Although we're still sitting on the edge of our seats (that could definitely use a makeover of their own), there is no official release date, but the new season is slated to premiere on HGTV and available to stream on discovery+ by Fall 2023.
