The New, Season 15 Bachelorette Is Announced and It’s a Surprising Choice
Say hello to your new Bachelorette, America. The season 15 lead was announced Monday, March 12, during Colton Underwood’s dramatic season finale.
The new Bachelorette will be Hannah Brown, one of the contestants to compete for the former football player’s affection, who otherwise goes as Hannah B.
THE BACHELOR – “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” – Twenty of the most unforgettable women this season will return to confront each other and Colton and offer the lowdown on their quarrels and personal hostilities as they battled to capture Colton’s heart. Chris Harrison takes a look back at some of the “memorable breakdowns and breakups” in series history. Dramatic feuds are revived between Oneyka and Nicole, Demi and Courtney, and Katie and Caelynn. Colton also must face the scrutiny of the women he sent home, while the ladies must defend their own behavior. Brown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, previously expressed her desire to tackle the role during an interview that took place at the Women Tell All taping.
“I would love to have the opportunity to continue on shedding that layer of just trying to be whatever I think people want me to be and just being myself,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I think I really believe in this process and I do think you can fall in love here and be in love and find your person. So, if it could be me, that would be great. I’m really sincere about it.”
Brown is used to pursuing titles after winning Miss Alabama USA 2018. Despite being eliminated after meeting Underwood’s family, Brown stood out from other contestants particularly after being involved in some drama with fellow Miss USA pageant member Caelynn Miller-Keyes.
Prior to the announcement, leaked footage on social media showed Brown filming her intro video for the show at the local theater.
THE BACHELOR – “2307” – The pressure mounts as Colton and the seven remaining women return to the U.S. and his hometown of Denver. He decides to meet with popular Bachelor Ben Higgins for his advice, sharing his fear of being blindsided by a bachelorette who is not as serious as he is. Tayshia and Colton escape to explore Denver, but she shares some earthshattering news with him that shakes his world. Caelynn meets Colton on the ski slopes for a day of fun. Country music star Brett Young builds the romance with a surprise concert for the couple. Colton and Hannah B. look into the future by going house hunting and meet up with ColtonÕs parents at the last stop. The four women who are left travel to a cozy rest stop in the mountains with the Bachelor, but a shaken Colton is faced with deciding which women he can trust for this next important step of visiting their hometowns. One woman throws another under the bus as everyoneÕs emotions run high, and it is left to Colton to make his toughest decision yet. Will he live to regret it? Underwood’s season, meanwhile, ended with a questionable fence-hopping incident that intensified into the Bachelor, well, waiving the typical format of the franchise to pursue his heart. He is now happily dating his final three contestant Cassie Randolph.
