Looking for the perfect date night spot? Consider dining at the "most beautiful restaurant" in New Hampshire.

And, you don't even need to leave the Seacoast.

People Magazine collaborated with OpenTable to name the most beautiful restaurant in every state, the types of places that have "fairytale-inspired gardens, tropical rooftop escapes, and avant-garde art installation," the magazine wrote.

"These super-stylish stunners deliver unforgettable dining experiences," People wrote in the announcement. "There are mountaintop chalets with modern rustic touches, glammed-up Art Deco mansions with a view, and mirror-and-glass paneled sky-high stunners."

For the New Hampshire pick, they went for rustic charm, with Three Chimneys Inn in Durham.

Diners have the choice of eating at Ffrost Sawyer Tavern, or one of the three dining spaces Maples, Coppers or the seasonal terrace.

At the tavern, expect to find a summer kitchen fireplace, granite wall and hand-hewn beams that will make you feel like a colonial traveler. In the Maples, there's millwork dating back to 1699 and plenty of candlelight to create ambiance. The oldest room, Coopers, is the original winter kitchen with wide plank floors and an elegant feels. For those perfect New Hampshire summer and fall days, there's the terrace.

Three Chimneys Inn Menu: What to expect

Since it's not all about the experience, here's a little bit about the food. According to the restaurant's website, you can expect the food to have a taste of New Hampshire.

"Our culinary team prepares savory dishes from scratch with exceptional, homegrown flavor," the website says. "The kitchen works closely with local farms and growers to pick fresh ingredients for creative entrees and innovative cocktails, resulting in exceptional farm-to-table cuisine that showcases the essence of New Hampshire."

The menu changes with a season, but on their spring 2024 menu you can find options such as Jefferson Fried Chicken with "fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, peas & onion, toasted pecans, & maple bourbon creamsauce" or a prime rib dinner or wild mushroom ravioli.
