You could earn $1,300 by watching these 13 classic films.

Calling all horror movie lovers! Are you interested in earning cash by watching your favorite Stephen King movies? Then you've come to the right place.

USDish.com is on the hunt for their third horror-loving movie fan to win $1,300 to watch 13 movies based on the renowned author's most spine-chilling novels.

Here's how it works: One lucky victim will be chosen for the Stephen King Scream Job: Chapter 3, which entails watching 13 films by Halloween while tracking the frightful movie-viewing experiences.

The chosen applicant will receive a survival kit, including a blanket, popcorn, candy and even some Stephen King paraphernalia to set the mood just right. (According to USDish the "swag bag" is valued at $350.)

You will also receive a Fitbit to track your heart rate during the most scream-worthy scenes.

So, the burning question: which movies will you be required to watch? Here are the 13 classic films that will leave you trembling:

  • Carrie (original or 2013 remake)

  • Christine

  • Creepshow

  • Cujo

  • Doctor Sleep

  • Firestarter (original or 2022 remake)

  • It (original or 2017 remake)

  • It Chapter Two

  • Misery

  • The Mist

  • Pet Sematary (original or 2019 remake)

  • Salem's Lot

  • The Shining

While watching all of the movies, you'll track your heart rate and jump scares, as well as share if any of your family or friends were brave enough to watch with you. You'll also receive a worksheet to help you track your reactions for the duration of the hair-raising films.

You'll also have to share what you thought before watching certain movies compared to your feelings after viewing. You'll even log your sleep—assuming nightmares don't keep you up at night.

Access to the movies will be provided by USDish, along with a guide for getting started.

According to their website, USDish is looking for someone "detail-oriented" enough to track their experience, but the job is definitely not for the "faint of heart."

"No degree is necessary, nor will a drug test or background check be performed; however, applicants must be 18 years or older and a US citizen or permanent resident to apply."

Think you're daring enough for the challenge? Make sure to get your application in before the Friday, Sept. 16 deadline at noon MST, and happy bingeing!
