Scott Disick Has Reportedly Taken on a Surprising Role As Ex Kourtney Kardashian Barker Prepares to Welcome 4th Baby

Following reports alleging both Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Scott Disick have been trying to put more distance between themselves, a source is claiming the father of her eldest three children has taken a surprising stance as the Poosh founder prepares to welcome her fourth child.
On Friday, Entertainment Tonight reported that Disick is “feeling a bit emotional as Kourtney gets closer to giving birth, but he is also supportive and is just glad she is feeling better considering her recent health scare,” per an insider. The source added, “He has put his own personal feelings aside and just wants to ensure that Kourtney is healthy and that their kids are feeling good. He has been extra proactive and hands-on and helping out however he can.”

The source alleged the former couple are doing their best to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship for the sake of their kids, Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8. “Both Scott and Kourtney have had open and honest conversations with their kids about getting a new sibling,” the insider said. “They’re looking forward to having a new baby brother around.”
Earlier this month, a source spoke to OK! Magazine about Kourtney’s alleged thoughts on her relationship with Disick. “Now that she’s starting a family with [husband] Travis [Barker], there isn’t room for Scott anymore,” they said, adding, “She never knew what she was missing until she got together with Travis and can’t believe she put up with Scott’s BS for so long.”

In September, another source told ET, “Scott has been very low-key lately and focusing on himself and his kids.” They added, “Scott and Kourtney are not as friendly as they used to be, so he tries to be respectful and give her space, while also being there for her and the family.”
And in June, shortly after Kourtney announced she and Barker were expecting their first child together, another insider claimed, “Scott is being as supportive as possible while also trying to take care of himself.” They told ET, “It stings a little and he will always have love for Kourtney, but at the same time he is also happy and excited for her. He wants to continue to move on and focus on his own personal life.”
The Lemme founder and reality star have historically had a tumultuous relationship, but we hope they’re able to remain on good terms for the sake of their kids. And while we feel for Disick, it’s giving too little too late — especially considering how many years Kourtney gave him to be the kind of partner she found in Barker.
