Yesterday afternoon, news dropped that Scott and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, had officially ended things after taking a “break” following his brief stint in rehab. And at almost the exact same time as the drop, Scott decided to hit Instagram for the first time since April to post a photo of himself chilling by a pool on vacation with Kourtney. I mean…that timing.

As a reminder, Scott and Kourtney spent his birthday weekend together with their kids in Utah, and a source said, “Kourtney knows how to handle Scott, and he is always in a better headspace when he gets to spend time with his kids. She has really been there for him since his rehab exit and has had a lot of sympathy toward him.”

News of Scott and Sofia’s breakup hit right when he and Kourtney got back from their trip, but before we jump to too many conclusions, it sounds like Sofia ended things—although, according to a Page Six source, “Kourtney didn’t make it easy for [Sofia], and you can only tolerate that kind of treatment for so long.”
