'Scorn' Releases Chilling Visuals of Its Nightmarish Horror Game

After a delayed release, Ebb Software has finally given fans a better look at its first-person horror puzzle game -- Scorn. Inspired by the works of H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński, players must explore a terrifying world in a non-linear manner where a dark and grotesque imagination runs wild.

Scorn is described as:

Scorn takes place in an open world rich in unique and interconnected regions, each a labyrinth of buildings with countless rooms and paths to explore. All of the story takes place in the game, and no episodic animations interrupt your connection to the terrifying reality of this life-like world. But keep your eyes open, the game will show no mercy to you, no matter what important things you miss during your arduous journey. Everything has a reason and a purpose, you just have to figure out a way to find it.

Those patiently waiting for the game's release have been rewarded with a release date that's been moved up one week from October 21 to October 14. Watch the eight-minute gameplay above a head over to Steam on the release date where it is available for PC.
