Score Major Savings on a Ski Vacation With This Vail Resorts Sale — but You Have to Book Soon

The sale, which is valid through Feb. 16, is available for bookings across several of Vail’s most popular resorts through next winter.

Ski season is in full swing, and Vail Resorts is making it easier to book a late winter getaway or even plan for next season with a 96-hour lodging sale.

The sale, which is valid through Feb. 16, is available for bookings across several of Vail’s most popular resorts through next winter, but requires a two-night minimum, Vail shared with Travel + Leisure. Blackout dates may also apply, but vary by location.

“Whether you are looking for a winter getaway close to home or at world-class destinations like Vail Mountain and Whistler Blackcomb, Vail Resorts’ 96 Hour Lodging Sale spans across our North American portfolio of resorts and offers a great way to save on your ski trip,” Laura Bonfiglio, a spokesperson for Vail Resorts, told T+L.

In Vail, travelers can save on a stay at several properties, including The Hythe, a Luxury  Collection Resort, which features touches like in-room fireplaces and fireside s’mores. Or in Park City, post up at the Sundial Lodge where they have a heated pool and ski concierge to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

On the East Coast, travelers can get discounted rates for Vermont’s Okemo at the Jackson Gore Village, the newest properties on the mountain. And in Canada, travelers can book a stay at Whistler Blackcomb’s Legends, complete with ski-in, ski-out access, full kitchens, gas fireplaces, private balconies, and more.

The Epic Pass, which is one of the best multi-resort passes in skiing and typically goes on sale in March for the next season, offers unlimited and unrestricted access to more than 40 different mountains along with limited access to dozens more resorts all over the world. Pass holders, who receive early access to Vail’s lodging sale, can also save an additional 20 percent through the company’s Epic Mountain Rewards program.

This year, Vail Resorts introduced a digital upgrade for pass holders, allowing skiers and snowboarders to store their passes on their phones and scan them on the mountain hands-free using Bluetooth.
