You Can Score Free S’mores at L.L.Bean This Weekend
National S’mores Day is August 10, and we certainly weren't expecting to celebrate at L.L.Bean. But the outdoor apparel retailer will be giving away free s’mores at all brick-and-mortar locations Saturday while supplies last, so we know where we'll be this weekend! The company will also introduce its S’more Swatch—a color chart that helps you toast the perfect campfire marshmallow.

According to L.L.Bean, the fourth shade (LLB004 “The Golden Rule”) is the ideal level of toastiness—golden brown on the outside, gooey on the inside, and hot enough to melt the chocolate onto the graham cracker. But we all know someone that likes their marshmallows to match the color of “Let’s Try it Again” (otherwise known as completely burnt). Your ideal marshmallow is ultimately up to you!
