Scooter Braun is doing the most when it comes to serving up dramatic interviews! Ariana Grande's manager (who also famously works with Justin Bieber) just spoke to Variety about the pop star, and to call the interview candid would be an understatement. 'Cause, like, Scooter went on a deep dive into this one time he quit working with Ari-and went ahead and blamed her "shitty boyfriend" while he was at it.

But first, a little background on Scooter ditching his job:

"I watched this other manager get fired, and I saw him defend himself instantly and put out a lot of truths. And I watched the artist see those truths, not want to deal with it, and then forever hate that manager. And with Ariana, I could have said a lot of stuff, and in fact my team wanted me to, because they were pissed. But I said, 'We’re not gonna say a word, and this is gonna come back around.' They were like, 'Never take her back!' but I just said, 'Let’s stay quiet and let our truth be our actions.'"

So, how'd he and Ari start working together again? That's where the shitty BF comes in.

"And when shitty boyfriends leave, she starts to see the light on some stuff, and one day I got a phone call. She said, 'Can I see you tomorrow?' and I said, 'No, I’m busy'-I actually couldn’t, so I said, 'I could see you Thursday' or whatever and I went over there and we had a very honest conversation."

Hmm, kinda like the honest conversation Ariana and Scooter are about to have once she reads this interview? LOL.

Anyway, if you're wondering who the shitty boyfriend is, that's pretty easy to figure out. Us Weekly points out that Ariana and Scooter parted ways in February 2016 and reunited in September. Meanwhile, she'd already broken up with Big Sean by April of 2015, went on to date Ricky Alvarez (who she broke up with in July 2016-DING DING DING!), and didn't start dating Mac Miller until a few months later. You do the math!
