Scheana Shay Plans to Pierce Her Baby Daughter’s Ears: ‘Judge Me’

Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay hasn't chosen a middle name for her baby daughter yet, but she has chosen what kind of earrings the girl will wear—and she dares you to say a thing about it. 

“I’m piercing my daughter’s ears when she’s a baby. Go ahead and judge me,” the pregnant reality star told listeners of her podcast, Scheananigans With Scheana Shay, on November 13, per Us Weekly. The topic came up when Shay revealed that her daughter, due in April, will have a diamond as her birthstone and already has a pair of earrings in the works from Hollywood jeweler Kyle Chan.

Shay plans to pierce her little one's ears at six months, though her mother, Erika van Olphen, interjected to say, “You could do it earlier. I did both of your guys’ earlier,” referring to Shay and her sister Cortney. Preemptively deflecting criticism, van Olphen added, “Judge away. It hurts for a quick second, not as bad as a vaccine.”

Shay and her boyfriend, Brock Davies, haven't yet revealed the name of their first child, but that's because they haven't finished coming up with it. They have a first name picked out and promises to share “once we figure out for sure the middle name.”

This isn't the first time Shay's alluded to how she intends to dress her first child. In her gender-reveal Instagram post from November 12, she wrote, “IT’S A GIRL!!! 🎀 I can’t wait to put the biggest bows in her hair and shower her with rainbows and unicorns! 🌈🦄” So, diamond earrings and enormous hair bows. This is going to be one stylish infant.

Whether you agree with her plan or not, you have to admit Shay is pretty fearless when it comes to revealing her true thoughts and experiences. This summer she told podcast listeners about the time she, John Mayer, and Stacie Adams from The Hills were a throuple. 

Don't judge. Or do. She doesn't care.
