Scarlett Johansson Showed Off Her Huge Back Tattoo at the Avengers: Infinity War Premiere

Tattoos are losing the stigma that used to be attached to them, and now, it seems like almost everyone we know has at least one. Even those in Hollywood, as more and more celebrities are showing off their ink on social media and on the red carpets. Scarlett Johansson, who has been building on her collection of tattoos for some time now, just confirmed that the tattoo we all spotted back in August is real by showing it off at the Avengers: Infinity War premiere in Los Angeles on Monday.

Months ago, eagle-eyed fans noticed Johansson sporting a large back tattoo in a black-and-white floral design, but it was unclear whether the ink was real or for a role. Now, it seems we have our answer — the tattoo is here to stay.

The tattoo was mostly visible peeking out from a silver strapless dress at the Avengers: Infinity War premiere, which Johansson attended with her partner, Colin Jost. In pictures from the premiere, it appears like the flowers are roses on a vine, and given that her daughter is named Rose, the tattoo seems especially sweet.

According to HelloGiggles, Johansson already has quite a few other tattoos: a tiny design on her right ankle, a bracelet tattooed on her right wrist, two rib tattoos, a lamb on her back, and a colorful sunset tattooed on her left arm. However, she hadn't yet debuted anything quite as big as this new piece, which is a similar style to the lamb on the right side of her back. They're both highly detailed depictions with a lot of shading.
