Scarlett Johansson Revives 2000s Fashion With Two-Tone Dress at Cannes

Scarlett Johansson just made a bold fashion statement in Cannes.
While promoting her new movie, Asteroid City, alongside co-stars Maya Hawke, Jason Schwartzman and Rupert Friend, the 38-year-old actress stunned during her recent appearance on the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival red carpet on Wednesday, May 24.
In the latest photos, Johansson gracefully posed in the seaside city wearing a bright orange, hot pink and black striped Prada ‘Baroque Collection’ dress, reportedly from the Spring 2011 collection, that's peplum hem hit her right at the knee and featured a classic tank top scoop-cut top that showed off her sprawling floral back tattoo.

Completing the look with chunky black Prada platforms, black Prada sunglasses, a few dainty rings, some diamond earrings and a pair of black and gold hoops, the Black Widow star looked preppy but also goth at the same time.
As for her glam, she kept it pretty simple, opting for just a rosy pink lip and black winged eyeliner. She stayed on theme with her hair, pulling it back into a timeless retro style: a thick French twist, which is not only a perfect nod to the location of the red carpet premiere but also an ideal style for summer–especially those hot, humid days.
A few other celebs using the international film festival as a way to hard launch summer style include Natalie Portman, who also wore a throwback-inspired re-creation, Ashley Graham, who not only channeled a modern Cinderella but also shut down a Cannes red carpet in a sheer sparkly number. Former Victoria's Secret Angel Rosie Huntington-Whitely also made a statement with her risky backless gown, as did Katie Holmes, who impressed with her sophisticated skirt suit ensemble.
