Saweetie Just Revealed Who Really Is Her Best Friend In This Baking Challenge

Saweetie's name is true to her sweet tooth, which she says she got from her father. As far as the treats she loves to eat (there are a few!) one that tops the list is a classic yellow cake with chocolate frosting that her family would make for special occasions growing up.
"Every time my auntie made this cake I knew it was gonna be a good night," Saweetie says in the latest episode of Bake Up With Me. Although she makes the yellow cake from a packaged mix, the rapper says all of the women in her family are bakers and she loves to bake when she has the time.
Cooking runs in Saweetie's family, describing her father's cooking as "soulful," while her mother's is a little more "gourmet," but "both can really throw down in the kitchen," she adds. As for the yellow cake, Saweetie remembers it fondly from her childhood and says it was the most sought-after snack in her household. So sought after that it would not even make it more than a day before being completely eaten.
"I used to hate when they would demolish the cake and leave crumbs. I'd be so greedy I'd put the crumbs together and a little frosting on it," she says. Hey, we've all been there, girl!
Her tip for making the cake at home is to use rich milk chocolate frosting and letting the cake cool down enough before adding the frosting on top. This way it evenly coats the top for the perfect bite every time. Thanks for looking out, Saweetie!
