When Black Friday rolls around, it's a great time to save big on items like Apple products, vacuums, and activewear. But you might not expect to see major savings on one thing that has become essential in everyone's lives: streaming services.

On Black Friday, you can score major discounts on Hulu, Paramount+, Max, and more. These services rarely offer discounts, so if you've been thinking about signing up, this is a great time to do it. Just be sure to read the fine print, as some exclusions apply and some services will auto-renew at a higher rate after the discount period is over. Happy shopping (and binge-watching)!

Hulu

Hulu had a huge discount last year, and their 2023 Black Friday deal is even better. You can get the Hulu (With Ads) plan for $.99/month for 12 months. The deal ends at 11:59 PM PST on 11/28/23. New and returning subscribers can get this deal, as long as they haven't had Hulu in the past month. At the end of the 12-month term, the subscription will auto-renew at $7.99/month.

Paramount+

Paramount+ is offering a Black Friday deal of almost 70% off for new subscribers. New subscribers can get 3 months of either the Paramount+ Essential Plan for $1.99/month, or the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME Plan for $3.99/month. Use the promo code BLACKFRIDAY to get access to the deal. (Available through December 3, 2023.)

Netflix

Netflix did not offer any Black Friday promotions in 2022, but stay tuned to see if they offer discounts this year. Plans start at $6.99 a month for the ad-based plan.

Peacock

Peacock offered one of the biggest Black Friday deals last year, with Peacock Premium service for just $0.99 a month. The streaming service has not yet announced a Black Friday deal for this year.

Disney+

The best deal for Disney+ is the Hulu bundle. No Black Friday discounts have been announced yet.

Max

This year, Max is offering their ad-based plan for $2.99/month for 6 months. It's normally $9.99/month, so this is a significant savings.

Discovery+

The streaming service is home to favorites like HGTV, Food Network, Magnolia Network, and Discovery. Plans start at $4.99 a month. Last year, the streaming service offered plans starting at $0.99 a month.

Apple TV+

Apple TV+ did not offer any Black Friday discounts in 2022, but that may change for 2023.

Sling TV

This year, SlingTV is offering this deal to new and eligible returning subscribers: Get the first month of Sling Orange or Sling Blue for $20, or get the first month of Sling Orange + Sling Blue for $27.50. You'll also receive a promo code for a free Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite.

Philo

New subscribers can get 50% off their first month of Philo using this link: philo.tv/bfcm23 (promo code applied at checkout). The offer is available through November 28.

YouTube TV

The base plan of YouTube TV costs $72.99 a month. Last year, the streaming service offered three months for a discounted price of $54.99 a month.

Vudu

Vudo has major discounts on popular TV shows and movies (think Avengers, Breaking Bad, and Friends) all November long. Find the complete list on their website.

PBS Prime Video

PBS Prime Video Channels are 75% off November 22 to December 3rd. The discount applies to two months of PBS Masterpiece, PBS KIDS, and PBS Documentaries.
