The HEPA filter captures 99.97 percent of particles.

Whether it’s cold and flu or allergy season, it’s always helpful to have an air purifier on hand to make sure you’re breathing the cleanest, freshest air possible. Not to mention having one can help reduce odors in your home, too. The Dyson Purifier Cool TP07 air purifier that we tested and named our “Best Splurge” option is on sale for 23 percent off right now, and not only is it an air purifier, but it also does double duty as a fan. Grab it on sale at Amazon for $151 off now.

The air purifier uses a HEPA filter to capture 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.3 microns, and it’s fully sealed to prevent anything from sneaking back out into the air. It provides real-time air quality updates and filter notifications on the LCD screen and in the MyDyson app to let you know when to change the settings or replace the filter. When we tested the purifier, we found that it improved the air quality in the room within just 10 minutes, and it was effective at detecting poor quality air. We didn’t have any difficulty removing the filter, but it does take a little bit of work to put the filter’s doors back into place.

Cool down every inch of the room with the device’s 10 air speeds and 350-degree rotation. It’s quiet, too; we didn’t hear it at all when it was on the lowest speed, and there was just a fan-like sound on level 10. You can easily adjust it without even getting off the couch with the included remote, voice control assistants (Siri, Google Home, and Alexa), or via the app. There’s even a night mode, which operates with quieter settings and a dimmed screen to avoid disturbing you while you sleep.

We thought the air purifier was easy to connect to the MyDyson app and found the information within the app, such as air quality, humidity, and temperature to be super helpful. We also liked that the device has a long cord that allows you to move it around the room as needed. It’s useful for houses with limited or poorly placed outlets, too, as the purifier doesn’t have to be placed right next to the outlet.

While the Dyson air purifier is a bit pricey, we think that it’s definitely worth it. Plus, you’ll get two-in-one with the fan feature—and you can shop it on sale for 23 percent off right now. Be sure to take a look at even more air purifiers from Amazon below.
