Horizon Forbidden West is officially up for pre-order, although its arrival wasn’t without controversy. Originally, Sony wasn’t providing PS5 upgrades to all PS4 versions of the game – instead, you’d need to drop at least $80 for the Digital Deluxe Edition. The company has since backtracked, and Horizon Forbidden West will now see free PS5 upgrades across the board.
Pre-Order Horizon Fordbidden West on Amazon
Pre-order hiccups aside, Aloy’s next adventure is shaping up to be one of the best you’ll find on PS5 next year. Plenty of gameplay footage has already been revealed, showing off new locations, new weapons and plenty of new mechanical behemoths for you to take down.
The Best Pre-Order Deals for Horizon Forbidden West
While there are no retailer-specific pre-order savings, PS5 owners can save $10.00 by picking up a PS4 copy and taking advantage of the free upgrade offered by Sony. This will be the last time such a deal will be available for first-party titles, so make sure you cash in while you can.
All pre-orders also include the in-game Nora Legacy Outfit and Nora Legacy Spear.
