Savannah Guthrie Wore a See-Through Black Lace Dress and 'Today' Fans Are Speechless

As a veteran journalist on the Today show, Savannah Guthrie loves to play with fashion on live TV. But she also takes her flair for couture outside of the studio, which she did during a recent appearance at New York Fashion Week.

In early February, the broadcast journalist stunned everyone when she arrived at the Michael Kors fashion show in an outfit opposite to her typical daytime wear. Donning a midi black dress with spaghetti straps from Michael Kors, the material featured a scallop hem as it hit just below her knees. The lace slip dress also had sequined embellishments that revealed a floral pattern overlaid a beige-colored material.

With Savannah's look being atypical to her usual attire, she spiced it up with more elegant touches.

Adding a black blazer as an accessory, the Princesses Wear Pants author wore a mixture of stacked bracelets on both of her wrists. She had her blonde hair in her signature style of soft waves. What's more, she completed the ensemble with black eyeshadow and red lipstick for her makeup.

When she posted photos from the event over on Instagram, Today show fans couldn't believe how great she looked in the eye-catching outfit. They immediately swarmed her comments section to voice their opinions.

"Loving this beautiful dress on you Savannah! Also your new shorter hairstyle! You look fantastic! 😊💓," one person wrote. "We all knew it, you were model material.🌹," another replied. "Stunning!! 🔥🔥❤️❤️," a different user added.

Though Savannah certainly stunned while attending a high-end show, she often makes a fashion statement in her every day life. Back in late January, she caused a commotion amongst viewers when she walked on to set wearing a hot pink floral dress. Last spring, she shared her love of florals with a printed midi skirt, which folks couldn't stop talking about.
