Savannah Guthrie Shares Emotional Photos From the Day She Had Her “Miracle” Baby at 42
Savannah Guthrie’s daughter, Vale, turned six years old on August 13.
“I believe in love at first sight. And I believe in miracles,” Guthrie captioned a gallery of Instagram photos. “Having a baby at 42 was certainly both.
Three years after Vale’s birth, Guthrie welcomed her second child, Charley, through in-vitro fertilization.
Happy Birthday to Savannah Guthrie’s first born, Vale! Six years ago, Guthrie and her husband Mike Feldman welcomed their daughter into the world, and to celebrate, the Today anchor shared some photos of their precious first moments together.
“This little bundle of sparkle came into our lives six years ago today... and oh, how we have loved you every moment since,” she captioned a gallery of photos picturing Vale growing over the years. “Vale Guthrie Feldman, you really do have a touch of stardust in you. You shine and smile and laugh and love with every drop of energy in your being. Your joy is infectious and your affection is for all. You are the gift we get to unwrap every day. Happiest 6th Birthday.”

Friends and followers adored the memories, wishing the little one a happy birthday. “Such beautiful words for your perfect girl. Happy Birthday, Vale!!❤️❤️” wrote Today’s health expert Joy Bauer. “It doesn’t get any better than that. Happy birthday, Valey,” meteorologist Al Roker added.
In another gallery, Guthrie shared more photos of the day Vale was born, including some emotional shots of Guthrie becoming a mother for the first time. “I believe in love at first sight. And I believe in miracles,” she captioned the Instagram post. “Having a baby at 42 was certainly both. I am thanking God today and every day. I will never, ever, ever get over this blessing. There is always hope.”

Guthrie announced her pregnancy with Vale during the same week she and Feldman got married in March 2014. Three years later, they welcomed their second child, Charley, through in-vitro fertilization. “I knew it was the winning lottery ticket to have one child,” Guthrie told Health in April 2019. “So I never dreamed that I would have two. But with Charley, I did do IVF. So I would say Vale was a miracle, and Charley was a medical miracle.”
