The news anchor was absent from the 'TODAY' show earlier in the week while enjoying a vacation with her family.

Savannah Guthrie spent the majority of this week away from the news desk at her usual spot on the TODAY show. Instead, she's been exploring the magic of Disney with her family.

Fans knew that Guthrie was taking some time off from the show this week, though it was unclear what exactly she was up to until the news anchor revealed in a new Instagram post on Friday that she had been busy taking her children to the most magical place on Earth.

The daytime broadcaster—who returned to the show on Friday, March 31—shared a series of family photos from the beloved amusement park in Orlando, Fla., which she visited with her husband, Michael Feldman, and their two kids: Vale, 8, and Charley, 6.

In the adorable shots, the precious family of four is seen smiling from ear to ear as they pose in front of the notable Magic Kingdom sights, take a ride on Aladdin's Magic Carpet and interact with the Festival of Fantasy parade.

"the magic is real," Guthrie, 51, captioned her post.

After enjoying an enchanting few days with her family, the journalist eventually made it back to the TODAY show, appearing on Friday's broadcast.

During the show, Guthrie acknowledged the absence of her co-anchor Hoda Kotb, who she said was "a bit under the weather."

As fans have already noticed, there have been a lot of absences among the TODAY show staff of late. Back in February, Guthrie unexpectedly left the show during a live broadcast after testing positive for COVID-19. That same week, Kotb was also missing from the show while her daughter Hope was in the hospital.

Upon her return, Kotb filled in their viewers on the situation explaining, “My [three-year-old daughter] Hope was in the ICU for a few days and in the hospital for more than a week. I’m so grateful she’s home," Kotb, 58, said. "She is back home … and we are watching her closely."

Now that Guthrie is back from her vacation, fans are wishing Kotb a speedy recovery so that the whole team can be back together again soon.
