Savannah Chrisley returned to her podcast, Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley, on Tuesday, Oct. 3, with a tribute to her late ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles.

Before the 26-year-old reality star got into the heart of her latest podcast episode titled "This Sh*t Ain't Easy," which discusses her current relationship with Robert Shiver, she began by remembering Kerdiles and sharing a tear-jerking message about love.

"This episode that you are about to hear was filmed weeks and weeks ago, and it's just now airing, but it was filmed before Nic Kerdiles passed away," Chrisley explained. "In this episode, I do mention my current relationship. We took a break last week, we didn't air anything. That was because I wanted to respect Nic, his family, just everyone involved and everyone that's hurting with his passing right now."

She went on, "And I do speak about my current relationship, but I'm also mourning the loss of someone who meant the absolute world to me."

Chrisley and Kerdiles, a former pro hockey player, were together for years before they were engaged in early 2019, though they ultimately split in 2020. Despite breaking up, The Chrisley Knows Best star seemed to have nothing but fond memories of her ex.

"Nic and I were in each other's lives for six years, we were engaged and there were so many great memories and at the end of the day, Nic made a huge impact on my life and he left such a mark on this world." Chrisley added, "I cannot tell you how many people have reached out and told me stories about how Nic had impacted their life."

"And if his passing teaches us anything, I think it's to love and love hard. And to treat people with so much love and kindness because that's exactly what he did. So Nic, I love you, you'll be missed and you left a mark," she said.

The NHL player tragically passed away last month at the age of 29 after running a stop sign on his motorcycle and crashing into an SUV in the Nashville area.

A day after his death, Chrisley shared a montage featuring sweet and personal photos and video clips from her relationship with Kerdiles online, mourning the loss.

"I am and will always be a better person because I knew you, because I loved you and was loved by you." Chrisley concluded her note, "Gosh! I miss you… this isn’t fair!"
