Saturday Night Takeaway chaos as Ant McPartlin injures himself tackling Stephen Mulhern

Ant McPartlin injured himself tackling co-star Stephen Mulhern to the ground during the final of Saturday Night Takeaway.

Mulhern appeared in the studio on Saturday night (13 April) dressed as a giant gold trophy for a special segment of the show.

Declan Donnelly told him: “Stephen thank you so much for everything you brought. You've been an absolute star we couldn't have done it without you.”

McPartlin then proceeded to tackle Mulhern to the ground, smashing him to the floor in his gold trophy costume.

After an advert break, McPartlin was seen back in the studio, wiping his cheek with a tissue and explained he had cut his face while tackling Mulhern.
