‘Sassy’ toddler says her teacher will need all the prayers she can get in hilarious TikTok
This little girl had a priceless reaction when her mother said that they should send prayers to her teacher for having her as a student, and the hilarious video has viewers in stitches.
From life’s big questions to funny clapbacks, kids can make some pretty amusing statements. The proof is in this video from TikToker and parent Sierra Layhew (@littlemamalayhew), featuring her daughter’s hilarious response after Layhew jokingly told her they should pray for her teacher for having her in class, and viewers are in hysterics over the toddler’s adorably feisty personality.
“We’re going to say a prayer for your teacher today for your sassy self,” Layhew tells her daughter at the beginning of the clip.
Sporting a candy cane striped smock dress and a giant bow in her hair, the toddler flashes a mischievous grin at the camera and nods her head in agreement before replying, “She’s about to NEED it.”
“You think so?” Layhew asks the toddler, cracking up over her candid response. The little girl flashes another toothy grin at the camera, affirming, “Yeah,” before dramatically raising one eyebrow as the video comes to a close.
The hilarious video had viewers losing it all over TikTok.

“I say a prayer every day for my daughter’s teachers because she has my sassy attitude,” commented one parent.
“As a person who used to work with kindergarteners and first graders, the sassy ones always made me laugh the hardest,” one former teacher shared.
“Oh, she is adorable! I’m a preschool teacher, and I adore the sassy ones. They make me laugh,” mentioned another educator.
“I had a sassy first grader last year that moved in the middle of the year, and I cried because she made me laugh so much every day,” another teacher divulged.
Based on the comments, the only prayers this funny little girl’s teacher needs are the ones that will help her contain her laughter.
