Sarah Michelle Gellar is not about to let the cold weather get her down.
The actress, 45, got busy showing everyone how strong her legs are in a one-piece, Barbie-themed swimsuit.
Sarah's go-to workout is Pilates, and she sweats for the physical *and* mental benefits.
The Cruel Intentions actress posted the photo of herself in the pink bathing suit (by Show Me Your Mumu) for her fans, and got busy showing everyone how majorly toned her legs are. “I’m a Barbie girl, in a Santa world 🎶 #barbiesdreamvacation,” Sarah, 45, captioned the photo. Of course, her comments were filled with fire emojis and support for the adorable look.
“Good god…SMG 🥵,” wrote one follower. Another commented, “You’re what Barbies wish to be when they grow up 🧡.” And one fan added: “SMG WE NEED YOU TO BE ON THE WHITE LOTUS SEASON THREE 🔥🔥🔥.” I could not agree more.
It’s not only Sarah’s outfit that slayed—it was hard to miss how strong and confident she is, too.
Sarah told Shape her go-to workout is Pilates, and she looks for studios that use the Megaformer, which is a spring-loaded resistance machine that’s similar to a Reformer. “It’s some of the hardest strength and core work I've done.” She also uses Amanda Kloots’ dance class subscription for an extra sweat. “I feel like I'm in one of her classes, which makes me really happy,” Sarah said.
Sarah shared with Shape that her workouts are as much for her mind as they are for her body. “[Exercise] used to be, sort of, 'I have to do this, this is my job, this is work,’” she said. “But I think there's an emotional component too, which is, it's what clears my mind.”
She also told the magazine she usually works out for about an hour. “I can sort of let everything else go, and I just focus on whatever the movement is and making sure it's correct.”
Fans have always loved Sarah for her candor, which also extends to her transparency about the cosmetic procedures she's undergone. Sarah told The Express she used CoolSculpt, a procedure that freezes and eliminates fat on your body.
“I don’t weigh myself, I don’t measure myself, but I could tell within a week how my clothing was feeling and fitting, how my jeans were buttoning back up,” she said, adding the procedure “gave me my confidence back in such an easy and noninvasive way.”
When it comes to her diet, Sarah doesn’t talk too much about how she fuels her body on a daily basis, but she did dish that her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., often cooks for the family. “He does this special pasta and pancetta dish for me. It’s delicious," she told The Express.
Keep doing you, SMG!
