Sarah Jessica Parker has finally endorsed her Sex and the City cast-mate Cynthia Nixon in her run for Governor of New York, 10 days after Nixon publicly announced she was standing.
On Thursday, Parker released a statement on Instagram that read:

Parker wasn't the first of Nixon's Sex and the City co-stars to publicly state her support. Within hours of Nixon releasing her campaign video, Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte in the HBO show, tweeted her endorsement:
I am so proud of @CynthiaNixon , no one cares more than she does about EVERY person getting a fair change and a good education. I know that she would be an excellent Governor ! https://t.co/xEAyRxFBb8

Cattrall is the last of the quartet to fully endorse Nixon. A few days after Nixon announced she was running Cattrall posted this rather formal statement on Twitter:
I support & respect any former colleague’s right to make their own career choices. https://t.co/zae7nJ6VFi

Things have not been easy in the Sex and the City camp in recent months. A long-rumoured spat between Cattrall and Parker dominated headlines after Cattrall claimed the show's star and producer was difficult to work with.
