Sarah Jessica Parker embodied her famous Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw, while out in New York City last night.

The actor stepped out to celebrate her new collaboration with jewelry label Lele Sadoughi: a fabulous capsule collection of glamorous shoe clips and matching accessories.

The fete took place at Italian hot spot Ambra, in Manhattan’s West Village, and for the occasion, Sarah Jessica Parker pulled out her best party fit. The star wore a pretty vintage-inspired purple velvet dress with a sculpted bodice and a flowy skirt. Over it she layered her favorite textured ivory coat adorned with ornate silver buttons. Sarah Jessica Parker finished the look with black and white polka-dot peep-toe heels with frilly black bows on the fronts.

The actor added some more shimmer to the outfit with a pair of diamond stud earrings. For glam, she wore her hair in a slicked-back ballerina bun and opted for a sparkly dark smoky eye and a glossy soft pink lip.

“I’ve been wearing vintage brooches and earrings as shoe clips for as long as I can remember,” Sarah Jessica Parker told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview this week about her collaboration with Sadoughi. “It’s a quick and simple way to take an already beautiful shoe and really make it your own. There are so many items we already own that are versatile and can be worn in more ways than one—we hope this collection inspires people to do just that.”
