Sarah Hyland Tried to Dye Her Hair Pink

Last we heard in Sarah Hyland hair news, she was practicing her haircutting skills on her fiancé Wells Adams. And since she did a pretty good job, it looks like she's now practicing some DIY hair changes on herself with a new color.

Earlier this week, Sarah surprised us with her new Ariel hairdo — but red wasn’t the color she was going for. Yesterday, May 21, Sarah posted on her Instagram Stories that she actually attempted to dye her hair pink but... well, it didn't turn out the hue that she was hoping for.

The actor was going for pink hair, a trend that so many people are jumping on in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. "It was supposed to be pink, thanks Venus retrograde," Sarah captioned the photo. She's apparently looking to the stars for a reason why she experienced some issues with her makeover, and the current retrograde motion of Venus is believed to create challenges when you attempt to make any aesthetic changes. However, she still looks fantastic. Sarah styled her new vibrant red hue with a voluminous blowout, and the two complement each other fabulously.

Sarah also posted this photo to her stories revealing that the color is temporary and telling her fans not to bleach their hair at home. "It's temporary guys!!! Please don't bleach your hair at home. That scares me," she wrote. While being at-home and unable to get to a salon, one of the riskiest beauty DIYs someone can do is bleach their own hair, according to the pros. If you are looking to dye your hair pink there are plenty of temporary options to play around with until salons open back up. But let's leave the permanent stuff to the professionals, shall we?
