Sarah Hyland Gave Fiancé Wells Adams a Buzz Cut While Social Distancing

Celebrities — they're (kind of) just like us. Not only are they doing their civic duty during the COVID-19 pandemic by practicing social distancing and staying at home, they're also looking for ways to keep up their styling and grooming routines without access to salons and hairstylists. The latest celebrity couple to take matters into their own hands is beloved Bachelor Nation alum Wells Adams and his fiancée, actor Sarah Hyland.

On April 7, Wells Adams documented Hyland buzzing the sides of his head on his Instragam stories. "This has gotten to be too much," says Wells of his full head of hair to the camera on his Instagram story. He then asks the Modern Family star how many times she's cut a man's hair and she responds by holding both hands up to form a zero.

Next, followers can view a hyper-lapse video (set to the jovial tune of "Hello My Baby" by The Groovebarbers) of Sarah using clippers to buzz the sides of his head. In the end, Wells seems pleased with the end result. "She did a pretty good job," he says to the camera with a big smile on his face while admiring his fresh cut in the mirror. The pair ended their night watching old seasons of The Bachelorette.

If like Sarah and Wells (or Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson) you've been inspired by the happy couple and are looking to cut your own hair while at home, there are plenty of ways to do it safely and with no regrets. Experts first recommend starting small (try not to go too drastic and chop everything off) by trimming dry hair with a pair of hair-cutting shears. With that in mind, go forth and cut your hair at home... if you must.
