Princess Eugenie is the one walking down the aisle this morning, but her mother Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, will also be front and center in today's celebrations.

The mother of the bride just arrived at Windsor Castle absolutely beaming with pride and looking lovely in a vibrant green dress.

As is British custom, she accessorized with a festive hat, set atop her signature red hair.

Fergie, as she is known, had a hand in today's event, and in particular she helped plan the more intimate evening reception, which will be held at Eugenie's childhood home, Royal Lodge later tonight. "Sarah and Andrew are helping to organize the evening party," a source told Vanity Fair's Katie Nicholl earlier this summer.

"Sarah is being very hands-on, but in a great way, and Eugenie wants her mum to be a big part of it all and will make sure Sarah is included in every aspect. Her feeling is the other royals will have to get on with it."

The source is of course referring to the somewhat contentious relationship Fergie has with select other members of the royal family.

Despite her agreeable relationship with her ex-husband Prince Andrew, Fergie was somewhat ostracized by his relatives following their divorce and a number of high-profile scandals in the 1990s. But the drama of years past seems to be out of mind this morning. The Duchess looks delighted to be at Windsor Castle, though a bit later we could see a few tears.

"I do understand why mothers cry at weddings now," she remarked in the lead up to her daughter's nuptials. "All my life I thought, 'Oh, what’s she crying for?' It’s lovely, it’s a great day."
