Sarah Ferguson chose a very bright color for Princess Eugenie's wedding.
Arriving four minutes late, the Duchess of York showed up at St. Windsor's Castle in a bright green Emma Louise gown. As she walked up the steps of St. Windsor's, with her eldest daughter Princess Beatrice, she occasionally grabbed her hat to make sure it didn't fly away in the wind.
Judging by Twitter reactions, most folks absolutely loved Fergie's outfit. Some, however, noted that her hat kind of resembles the golden snitch from Harry Potter because, well, it's the Internet.
Is it me or does Fergie’s hat remind you of a golden snitch from the Harry Potter films? #RoyalWedding pic.twitter.com/NXo0laQB0A

Twitter silliness aside, David Zyla, Emmy-Award-winning stylist and author of Color Your Style, says Fergie's color choice has a deeper meaning behind it.
"A green means renewal, life, and association with being refreshing and peaceful," he tells GoodHousekeeping.com.
Besides Fergie, Princess Anne also chose to wear a green hue for Eugenie and Jack's big day, so it's safe to say there's definitely a theme going on.
By contrast, the Queen and Meghan Markle opted for more neutral blue tones.
