Sara Lamm, Documentary Filmmaker

Sara Lamm is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker who has produced, directed and performed in a variety of multimedia performances, featuring audio collage, video and still photography. Her first documentary film, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox, captured the complicated family legacy of the socially responsible soap company, Dr. Bronner’s. She released a documentary in 2012 that focused on the work of midwife Ina May Gaskin on the rural Tennessee commune known as The Farm. Her 2017 film Thank You for Coming documents her own journey to find her biological father after discovering she was conceived via sperm donor.
