Sanuk and Traeger Team Up to Release Limited-Edition Outdoor Shoe Inspired by Barbecue Culture

An outdoor collaboration extravaganza is on the way as Sanuk, the ultimate comfort shoe brand, and Traeger, pioneers of the original wood pellet grill, have teamed up to launch a limited-edition shoe inspired by barbecue culture united by a shared passion for good times and bringing people together. The duo created this innovative footwear style for grillin’ and chillin’, complete with sauce-repellent upper material and removable patent pending beverage opener for grill side refreshments, making these easy-to-slip-ons perfect for the sunny summer months ahead.

Titled Happy Hour Lite x Traeger, the announcement follows Sanuk’s collaboration with Surfrider, which featured four different shoe styles that consisted of the Donny x Surfrider for men in khaki and the Donna x Surfrider for women in taupe, and included an all-new sandal — the Ziggy Switchfit x Surfrider available in grey for both men and women.

Available in two colors – cowmooflage and dark brown – the Happy Hour Lite x Traeger was designed for all-day comfort, whether you’re cooking up a storm or simply relaxing back with loved ones. The “cowmooflauge” model feature soft footbeds, hemp cotton uppers, sauce repellent textiles, and an adjustable, responsible sourced leather strap with a removable beverage opener for bottle emergencies. The “dark brown” colorway is an ultra comfortable silhouette that also has soft footbeds, hemp cotton uppers featuring sauce repellent textiles, and an adjustable, responsible sourced leather strap with a removable beverage opener as the finisher.

Additionally, the unisex Sanuk x Traeger slip-on was crafted with grill enthusiasts in mind, flaunting unique features such as: the removable patent pending beverage opener we just mentioned, which ensures you’re always equipped for grill side refreshments no matter where the party takes you. The sauce-repellent upper material is one that keeps you safe from BBQ and ketchup stains all summer long, butcher block-inspired wood grain print with comfy custom co-branded heel pads and leather closure straps.
