If you're a fan of Game of Thrones, you know that Sansa Stark is grossly mistrusting of Daenerys the Dragon Queen. But does actress Sophie Turner share similar sentiments toward Emilia Clarke IRL? Maybe.

On a recent appearance of The Late Night Show With Jimmy Fallon, Sophie blamed Emilia for the great coffee cup debacle of 2019. "I mean, look who it's placed in front of. Emilia Clarke. She's the culprit."

This bold statement was a defensive move after being presented with an incriminating picture of herself smiling for the camera with a Starbucks cup in hand. According to Sophie, the photo means nothing because it was snapped during the filming of a different episode-one in which (SPOILER!) Lyanna Mormant is still alive, not the one where everyone gets sloshed celebrating the defeat of the army of the dead.

Sophie isn't alone. Liam Cunningham (Davos) told fans on Conan that "[t]hese things happen, it’s a big job, people run in, and Emilia probably drinks too much coffee."

Emilia Clarke remains firm that she's innocent. "I don’t even drink Starbucks. I have no idea whose it was. Liam’s a cheeky one. The funny thing is in Belfast, there is no craft coffee selling Starbucks. Unless we’ve got the Americans in, some hotshot producer, and then we’ll have Starbucks lying around,” she told the LA Times.

But, according to Sophie, whether Emilia drinks Starbucks is irrelevant. "[W]e all have the same cups for all of our water and tea and everything."
