Sangita Patel has dazzled fans in a "gorgeous" Indian traditional look.

On Wednesday, the 44-year-old "ET Canada" host took to Instagram to commemorate the 77th Indian Independence Day, which took place the day prior.

Patel posed in a floral pink and green lehenga from Toronto-based and Indian-owned brand Mani Jassal.

She accompanied the carousel with a caption on what the day means to her.

"This day is special for my grandparents, my parents and how this changed the trajectory of their lives. My dad (who is 76) was born into a new India, crazy!," she penned.

"When I was kiddo my parents made sure we visited Raj Ghat in Delhi to visit Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. Still remember that day."

The mom-of-two then quipped she "should try auditioning for a Bollywood film" and suggested playing Priyanka Chopra's older sister.

Her followers adored the look, and agreed, she actually should audition for a Bollywood film.

"Beautiful and yes you should!" one Instagram user wrote.

"You are a great role model for Indian women! You are gorgeous and very intelligent! I love your dress" another added.

Some complimented her "gorgeous dress," with one pointing out the "colours are stunning."

Another person wrote, "Absolutely stunning!" along with an Indian flag emoji.

Patel recently impressed fans with an intense workout video shared to Instagram.

She demonstrated "slow and controlled" push-ups, and encouraged her followers to take up the challenge.

"As much as push-up and pull-ups suck, they are incredible exercises that will test you no matter how strong you are," she wrote in the caption.

"No way you did that," one of Patel's followers commented.

"Girl there isn't anything you can't do, this is so mind-blowing, damn!" another added.
