Sandra Bullock's long-term partner, Bryan Randall tragically died over the weekend.
He had a three-year-long battle with the neurological disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, otherwise known as ALS.
The Miss Congeniality star reportedly first met Randall in January 2015 when she hired him to take pictures at her son Louis's fifth birthday party.
Sandra Bullock's long-term partner, Bryan Randall tragically died over the weekend following a three-year-long battle with the neurological disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, otherwise known as ALS.
Randall's family announced his passing in a statement to People on Monday, 7 August. It read:
"It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS. Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honour his request."
"We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours."
"At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan," the statement concluded, which was signed off from "His Loving Family."
The Miss Congeniality star reportedly first met Randall in January 2015 when she hired him to take pictures at her son Louis's fifth birthday party. The following year, the model-turned-photographer had "officially moved in," with the pair having already made their romance public, which included an appearance at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's wedding.
While speaking on Red Table Talk in December 2021, the actor also detailed how Randall was the "love of [her] life."
"We share two beautiful children - three children," she said, referring to her two kids, Louis, who is now 13 and Laila, 10, plus Randall's older daughter, Skylar, 29.
"It's the best thing ever," she added.
Randall's family have requested - instead of flowers - donations to be sent to the ALS Association and Massachusetts General Hospital.
