San Juan Capistrano, CA, Is Nearing Construction on a $3 Million Skatepark

Since early spring of 2022 the city of San Juan Capistrano, CA, has been talking about building a new community skatepark, a big one at that. Check out the original posting below with the first conceptual design!

The city put aside a budget of over $3 million to go towards the building of the new park, but the planning department has been slowing the roll for the build, which originally was supposed to be completed this past fall of 2023. After the impact report was complete the city was able to push on with the construction of the park, and coming spring of 2024, ground will officially be broken with plans of the new park opening in September 2024!
