San Diego Zoo Shares Cute Animal Blooper That’s Has People Delighted

It's almost time for Halloween, and @San Diego Zoo is celebrating by decorating some of the animals' living spaces. Chindi is an echidna (spiny anteater from Australia) who's is trying to get down from a small ledge decorated with pumpkins in her space but can't quite make it down, and what happens next is too cute!

The zoo posted the video on Wednesday, October 25th, and they captioned it as an animal blooper. Chindi is trying to get off the ledge so she can go about her business, but it doesn't go quite as planned. Instead of gracefully sliding down, she ends up going head-first. The puff of dirt that springs up when she lands is too cute!

Don't worry about Chindi! She wasn't hurt at all. @San Diego Zoo said in the caption that echidnas have bad depth perception, so it probably happens pretty often. I thought it was a big hedgehog or little porcupine...I'd never heard of an echidna before! I wish the video had been longer, so we could've seen where Chindi was going!

Commenters got a kick out of the cute little tumble. One commenter got more than 13 thousand likes when she pointed out, "The little cloud of dust that comes off her when she lands!!!" @Mediogre isn't wrong for suggesting, "I think that, sometimes, we all feel like an echidna faceplanting into the dirt" and @Chugmammma agreed, "Actual depiction of how my week is going..." @Laurel Irene laughed, "The small pause of defeat LOL!" and the Zoo replied, "Now what"?

Chinda looks adorable, and so does the little pumpkin covered in her quills. Looks like everybody enjoys decorating the zoo for Halloween using what they can find. Pumpkins not only make great decorations, but they are also a healthy treat, and many animals look forward to enjoying the yummy gourds!
