Not sure if you’ve started counting, but Christmas is right around the corner. With the jolliest time of year hot on our heels, retailers have made sure to introduce a blizzard of festive offerings well before the season’s first snowfall.

While there are plenty of seasonal staples to enjoy, nothing screams the holidays more than creamy, silky eggnog. All at once, a boozy beverage and a decadent dessert, the fan-favorite treat is a delicious addition to any holiday get-together. As famous as the drink is, however, not everyone is a fan of the custardy concoction, but please allow me to persuade you.

Traditionally served around Christmas time due in large part to the warm spice additions of nutmeg and cinnamon, eggnog has been around for centuries. Over time, the festive beverage has been refined and updated to appeal to our modern palates — and that includes offering a variety of options everyone can enjoy.

Typically, eggnog is spiked with rum or brandy to really amp up the holiday cheer, but if you want to avoid being lit like a Christmas tree, you might want to go for a booze-free option. As far as options go, one delicious non-alcoholic custard stands out among the rest, and it comes to us from none other than the Louisiana-based Southern Comfort brand.

Posted on the super-fan @samsclubfoodreview Instagram account, a video of a half gallon option of the famed Southern Comfort Traditional Eggnog was shared with the caption, “🎉⭐️ BEST EGG NOG EVER ⭐️🎉.” And with such a ringing endorsement, it’s easy to see why fans are flocking to Sam’s Club to grab the treat.

The comment section was filled with users expressing their genuine joy at the return of the beverage. “My son LOVES this stuff and begs me to get it every season. Such a great price at Sam's too!” enthusiastically shared one person. Another also commented on the price saying, “It’s so good and such a good price! A smaller one of the same stuff in the grocery store is the same price!”

With the beverage's popularity, it’s no surprise that you can grab a half gallon at most stores, but prices may vary. Bulk grocer Sam's Club is offering the drink for $4.98, but if you’re looking to score an even better deal, check out its companion chain, Walmart, where you can grab a quart of the container for just $3.36.
