Samira Wiley Honeymoons in Italy
Weeks after their beautiful, confetti-themed wedding ceremony in Palm Springs, Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli are currently in Italy for their honeymoon. The newlyweds, who met on the set of Orange Is the New Black, have been providing updates of their adventures on Instagram.

Samira, who can next be seen in Hulu’s adaptation of A Handmaid’s Tale with Elisabeth Moss, also celebrated her 30th birthday on the trip. “My wife took this picture, I didn’t put a filter on it, and we’re on our honeymoon in Italy,” she wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of herself in front of the Arno river at sunset.
Lauren also shared a birthday message for her new wife, along with photos of Samira sleeping while in transit.
As documented in Martha Stewart Weddings, the couple both wore Christian Siriano gowns for their wedding, which was officiated by Samira’s parents. Samira and Lauren announced their engagement last October in matching Instagram posts after dating for about two years.
