Avatar 4 will take place six years in the future, and the cast and crew are preparing to return to Pandora once more as production continues.

"We go back to work on it in a month, and it's big," Sam Worthington told PEOPLE, revealing "It's bigger than you can imagine".

Details about the plot are firmly under wraps, but James Cameron did reveal to GQ that this one is about getting "more into the heart and soul of the characters."

Michelle Yeoh, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington, Stephen Lang, Jemaine Clement, Cliff Curtis, Giovanni Ribisi, Oona Chaplin, Jack Champion and Joel David Moore are all slated to star, as per IMDb.

Filming may continue next month, but Avatar 4 won't hit theaters until December 21, 2029.

However, the Avatar 3 release date was confirmed by James Cameron, as he revealed, "We're into a very hectic two years of post-production right now, so it'll be Christmas of '25".
