Sam Heughan Riles Up Fans With Subtly Steamy Snap

Sam Heughan is celebrating World Whisky Day with a steamy snap.

The Outlander star shared a photo of himself on Instagram with a bottle of his brand Sassenach Spirits' Scotch Whisky resting on his knee. He captioned it, "Celebrate #WorldWhiskyDay with the one and only #SassenachWhisky Sláinte 🥃."

Though the picture was merely promo for his liquor, Outlander fans thought the new photo from the Scottish heartthrob was heavenly."I'm in heaven," quipped a fan, while another commented, "Dear God in Heaven."

Others also had praise for the great snap. One wrote, "Thanks for this beautiful picture!!!" and another praised both Heughan's looks and entrepreneurial skills, writing, "How can you look so smashing. 🤩 It's the neverending love for your core brand. 🥃 A sentimental businessman, that's rare."

Fans who've been lucky enough to try his whisky also had rave reviews in the comments. "You are superb! The best whisky! Enjoy! Happy #worldwhiskyday to you too!" wrote a fan. Another added, "There is always a day, an event to celebrate sipping a few drops of whiskey Slainte Sassenach❤️🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️."

Many fans from around the globe asked the actor when the whisky would be available in their country. Sassenach Spirits is, unfortunately, currently only available for purchase in the US, Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom. However, it looks like Heughan is trying to expand his liquor brand's reach, with the site offering a notification for when Sassenach will be available in your region.

Heughan, 43, is also gearing up for Outlander's seventh season, which premieres on June 16. In January, it was announced that the Starz series was renewed for its eighth and final season. However, that won't be the end of Outlander, as the hit show is getting a prequel series called Blood Of My Blood.
