Is Sam Heughan Researching a Post-'Outlander' Movie Role?

The SAG-AFTRA strike has shut down production on most TV and film projects, which has freed up actors’ schedules, especially when they aren’t picketing.

Obviously, Sam Heughan is among them. Season 7 of Outlander finished filming several months back, and it appears that the production on his other STARZ series, The Couple Next Door, either wrapped or was shut down during the strike, making Sam a free man.

So how does he spend his time? Well, today, he’s on a motorcycle ride in the Florida Keys.

Sam posted several photos along with the following missive on his Instagram account: “Wonderful ride to Key West. 🇺🇸 7 Mile bridge, Hemingways house (on his birthday!) …and my first Key Lime pie.”

Sam’s love of motorcycles is no secret. Earlier this year, he posted a photo of his West Coast Triumph built Sassenach Scrambler and in 2022, he rode in the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride in Edinburgh to raise money for men's mental health and cancer charities.

The hot Scot is most likely on vacation, but could he also be researching Ernest Hemingway for a potential role?
