Sam Heughan isn't too happy with Graham McTavish.

The Outlander star, 42, went live on Instagram earlier today, April 23, to make a huge announcement about their new book, but to his dismay, the actor's costar, 62, had already leaked the news!

Heughan started the Instagram live by stating that he had some "very exciting news," but wanted to bring along someone that was going to help him reveal it, and in came his partner in crime, McTavish.

Heughan revealed that the two had been working on the book for a while now and had a whole plan to go live on Instagram to reveal the new book, but unfortunately, McTavish jumped the gun and announced the news on his Instagram a few days too early.

"I had a sort of drunken episode recently where I can't quite remember everything that happened," McTavish quipped. "So maybe something happened that I can't possibly comment on, but if you're implying that I already revealed what you're about to reveal, I couldn't possibly comment."

McTavish, being his cheeky self, then went on to blame his announcement post on artificial intelligence. "Well, what I saw on your Instagram was a new Clanlands book, which is an amazing AI representation of myself and you," Heughan joked.

"The Cat is out the bag! 📚🐱(Not really sure why it was in there?!)," Heughan quipped in the caption.

"'Clanlands - In New Zealand' Is now available for preorder! Despite @grahammctavish trying to sabotage our big reveal..🇳🇿 Link in stories! @radarbooks," he wrote.

After their quick banter, the two went on to officially reveal that they have a new book coming out later this year titled, Clanlands: In New Zealand: Kilts, Kiwis, and an Adventure Down Under, a sequel to their 2020 book, Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other.

McTavish revealed the news on his Instagram yesterday, April 22, where he shared a photo of the book cover, writing, "The new Clanlands book is coming."

He continued: "After percolating in the minds of @samheughan and myself for many months we are finally ready to unleash it on our readership. November 7th. Available for pre-order as well as digitally. Chronicling our adventures in New Zealand as well as acting as legal testimony of all that occurred in that magical land. It has to be read to be believed."

Clanlands: In New Zealand: Kilts, Kiwis, and an Adventure Down Under will hit shelves on Nov. 7, 2023.
