Sam Elliott is a talented man.

The 75-year-old grows a stellar mustache, makes women swoon with the sound of his voice, and plays a better cowboy than anyone else in Hollywood. We know what you're thinking: Is there anything Sam can't do?

Apparently, he's not a very good dancer.

This news may come as a surprise after watching Doritos's viral Super Bowl ad, which features Sam facing off against rapper Lil Nas X in a Western-style showdown. Rather than draw weapons, they break out their best dance moves to win bragging rights (and a bag of Cool Ranch flavored chips).

In the end, Lil Nas X wins—but Sam's performance is seriously impressive. So, is it real? While the actor had a little help from "movie magic" to execute some of his moves, it really is him kicking up desert dust and tumbleweeds in that video.

However, that doesn't mean it was easy.

"Dancing with a pair of spurs on—dancing, period—is a chore for me," Sam admitted, proving that he's actually human.

Access Hollywood got a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Doritos ad and those dance sequences definitely look like they took some effort to film.

Please fast-forward to the 27-second mark to enjoy footage of the ol' cowboy struggling to nail down the steps:

Obviously, the finished product turned out great—but maybe Sam should stick to riding horses.
