You Can Get a Sam’s Club Membership for Just $30 on Groupon

Sam's Club is celebrating members and its big membership announcement with free full-size cupcakes while supplies last for one weekend only.

In light of Costco’s recent membership-fee increase, Sam’s Club is giving consumers a tempting offer to make the wholesale store switch by offering an annual Sam’s Savings Card for just $30 through Groupon (it’s regularly $45).

If Costco is out of budget now, too far from home, or you’re looking to get a Sam’s Savings Card on top of your Costco membership for double the savings, this is the time to store away your hard-earned money and snag some extra freebies. If you buy the Groupon you’ll also receive a free rotisserie chicken and a $5 e-gift card. That’s another $10 in savings, so what are you waiting for?

There’s another Groupon deal option that costs $45, but you’ll also receive $105 in instant-savings coupons, which are loaded directly onto your membership card, and $10 off a set of installed wiper blades. With both deals, you’ll receive a complimentary card for your spouse or another person in your house.

In case you haven’t heard, Costco’s Gold Star Membership increased by $5 a year to $60 and the Executive membership went up $10 to $120 a year. Sam’s Club’s memberships were already $15 less than Costco’s Gold star membership to begin with, so this deal will get snatched up quickly. Keep in mind that this particular Groupon is only valid for new Sam’s Club members.
